Hello everyone. My name is Alex, and I am a trans-man. I decided to create this website in order to help others in the trans-community cope with who they are. When I realized I wanted to transition, I had no idea where to start, what to do, or who to talk to. I looked online for as much information that I could get my hands on, but sadly, it can be pretty limited. I would find before and after videos of trans-individuals. They inspired me, but it still didn’t offer much help. I wanted more of their stories, and experiences.
At first, I just wanted to transition and move on with my new life. I wanted to put my past behind me and never look back. I didn’t want anyone I met down the road to know who I once was, and I wanted the people already in my life to completely forget. I know this is a common feeling in trans people. I understand the mentality behind it, but I don’t think it’s right. By hiding who we were we are taking something away from the ones who come after us. We’re telling the world that being trans is something to hide when really, its something to be proud of.
Through this website, my hope is to share my experiences in hopes of helping others who are going through the same thing. I know how hard transitioning is no matter what stage you’re in. It can be dark and lonely especially when the world around you is so cold. You are not alone by any means.
I hope you can use the information, I put together, to your advantage. My goal here is to help you. If there are any questions, please feel free to email me, or comment.
